Commercial Pilot License is a continuation of (CPL). This license is a continuation of the PPL (Private Pilot License).
What is the Private Pilot License?PPL is a license obtained by students at the flight school after reaching a certain flying hours (each country has a different standard flight hours). Pilot who holds these licenses can fly airplanes for recreation or personal business only during the day and should not be in the evenings. PPL license holders are not employed by the operator or airline flights anywhere to be paid.
So, to have a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), you can fly a commercial aircraft and carry passengers (whether paid or not). CPL pilot license holders can work in the airline. However, flight hours and a maximum distance CPL licensed pilot is still limited if it does not have an IR (Instrument Rating) for example is only limited daylight.
